<来歴>

実家が寺を営むため、仏教的環境で育つが、幼少より、英語や海外に強いあこがれを持つ。多摩美術大学在学中より、アルファベットをモチーフにした作品を手掛ける。卒業後、通勤途中に始めた英語の独習から、イラストと英語の日記の『MY JOURNAL』が誕生。

SNSで公開。同時に、切り絵の制作も再開する。

<<Artist biography>>

Born in Fukuoka and raised in a Buddhist temple, Atone Naoco developed an interest in English and life overseas from a young age. During her studies at Tama Art University, she channeled her interest in the English language and focused on using English typography in her art. Post-graduation, she continued her studies by writing an English journal during her commute to work. She added illustrations and "MY JOURNAL" was born. She began sharing her journal online in hopes that others would enjoy it as well. Gradually, she expanded her idea and began creating "Kirie,"Japanese paper cutting art. In the future, she hopes to also create animations.
